Elizabeth McWilliams was born May 29, 1984 in San Antonio, Texas. Seven days later, after Patty and Stan returned from Europe, she traveled on her first plane ride to Dallas, Texas and then on to McKinney, Texas to live with her new family. She attended elementary through high school in McKinney, graduating from McKinney High School in 2002.

After high school, Elizabeth went to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas as a nursing major. After her first year, she returned to McKinney to continue her education at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas. She graduated with her Associates of Art in December 2004. She now attends Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Elizabeth anticipates graduating in May of 2009.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Stan and Patty McWilliams. She has one older brother, Tim, recently married to Erika Marfice McWilliams. Tim and Erika reside in Fort Worth, Texas. Elizabeth’s parents continue to live in McKinney where Stan is an attorney and Patty is a retired school teacher and an active community member.
