How We Met Paul and Elizabeth met for the first time in May 2006 through a mutual friend at the Cracker Barrel in Abilene, Texas. They talked and enjoyed each other company, but didn’t meet again until the sad occasion of a different mutual friend’s funeral. From there Paul and Elizabeth began talking on the Internet, and after several conversations online Paul asked for Elizabeth’s number. Their friendship turned into a long distant relationship. On Paul’s first trip to McKinney, he asked Elizabeth’s parents if he could court her. They were taken by surprise but said yes. Love began. |
